* The top message appears when you are not on line, such as when you are at home and you have not accessed your ISP.

* If you are online and get either of these messages, the server is temporarily unavailable.  Try again later, but be aware that not all servers are maintained round the clock, especially at schools and colleges just getting onto the Web.  So it might be the next morning before the server can be rebooted--or an hour or so when demand eases.  Or the next second, if the message is acting as a "busy signal."
