MARK Explanation

Landmarks, like the Rock of Gibraltar, Niagara Falls, or even human-made ones, like the pyramids and Mt. Rushmore, are not much affected by storms. True love isn't affected much by the "storms" of day-to-day life--or even the force 5 hurricanes of a relationship. Real love still endures, claims the speaker of this poem.
