Where's the "Edge of Doom"?

THE EDGE OF DOOM Explanation

What does this phrase mean in the context of this poem? Is it more logical to think that true love lasts only as long as the lovers themselves last or that true love lasts until the end of the world?

Consider the traditional marriage ceremony's wording of "until death do us part." Since Shakespeare began with an analogy to marriage, this phrase probably represents the ideal he suggests in this poem for true love. So the photos are flashy but distractors, if love endures to the end of the life of the lovers.
