Module Structure: This module consists of 25 questions. The questions are divided into sections: Topic Questions (4), Scansion Questions (3), Rhyme Questions (3), Figurative Language Question (4), Sound Effects Questions (3), Audio Questions (3), Symbolism Questions (2), Theme Question (1), Music Question (1), and Art Question (1).

Procedure:  Open your word processor (probably Word) to a new, blank page.  Title it "Silken Tent Answers" and save the file in a folder, e.g. "My Documents," as "tentquiz."  Work through the questions at your own pace, but be sure that your answer to #23 on the theme of the poem matches your other answers (and vice versa).  Your are encouraged to write out a paraphrase of the poem, telling what it says (means) in plain English.  In addition, you are encouraged to explain your reasoning for selecting a given answer choice, especially for the last three questions.

When you are done, either print your answers for your instructor or close your word processor so you can email the file to your instructor as an attachment, whichever your instructor prefers.

Now click the "Topic" button, below, to begin.  These buttons will appear at the TOP of the next several pages.
