A Collaboration in Making Web Pages
PurposeIn this level, it will be helpful to be in a workshop or to have a partner with similar experiences with Front Page. In Front Page, Level 1, "Secrets of Front Page," you made a few pages for yourself and may have continued on your own to make the entire manual, your own version of the one located in Fall, 1998, at http://vccslitonline.cc.va.us/fpmanual In Front Page, Level 2, "Secrets 2," your task now is to divide up the work below and share it. In the end, you, your peers, and the trainer should have access to a set of web pages that can be "imported" into a web on each of your own computers--if it contains Front Page 98 or newer. TasksEveryone needs to do task #1 and the "What's Next?" page, but you may do tasks 2 - 9 on your own in any order. If you are in a workshop or a user group, you may divide the work with peers and help each other to make each of the pages called for and share the pages, along with the expertise. Basically, you are to make web pages that illustrate selected intermediate or advanced features of Front Page. Along the way, you will evaluate the worth of the Front Page "Help" and the Microsoft on the Web FrontPage website for you. The page-turning buttons at the top of each page are an outline of the lesson (there are no "child" pages).
