bulletThis article at Smith-Weaver-Smith by Denham Gray concerns online collaboration and has a business slant, BUT it analyzes better than any other article I've read exactly where trust and distrust come from.  Please note the idea about likenesses and surprises and self-revelation as the groundwork for trust.
